Chief Secretary Smt Radha Raturi has informed that Ayushman card is issued to beneficiary having NFSA / SFSA Ration card of the state.
Aadhaar is used only for KYC during card creation. The state does not have access to aadhaar details on stored database. The measures to check fake cards are as under:
Analyse and verify the already issued Ayushman cards with help from NHA.
Advisory is being issued to empanelled hospitals to check authenticity of Aadhaar address during admission and ask original aadar card and ration card.
Instructions to be issued to Food Dept. for verifying ration cards made during last 1-2 years, especially having only one member in ration card.
Direction are being given to empanelled hospitals to be more vigilant for beneficiaries coming from other states and ask for original aadhaar card and ration card.
Strict directions are being given to Common Service Centres not to indulge in any fraudulent activity or face strict action. SHA will be more alert to detect any such fraudulent activity.
